Raymond Martin, 49, was born on March 24, 1959 in Los Angeles, California and passed away on April 8, 2008 in Pasadena, California.
He was always there to help anyone in need, and was loved by everyone that knew him. Raymond worked for the Los Angles Department of Water and Power for over ten years and has resided in both Yucca Valley and Los Angeles. His family lovingly knew him as Ray Ray, while his friends enjoyed calling him L.A. Ray. He will be dearly missed.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Martin of Los Angeles, California, parents, Pepe and Rosa Alday of Hatch, New Mexico, brother, Johnny Martin of Salt Lake City, Utah, sisters, Sandra Parang of Laguna Niguel, California, Delia Lopez of Whittier, California, Melinda (Pazie) Florez of Murrieta, California, step-daughters, Angie Tislow and Anita Ramirez, step-son, Angel Rosales of Los Angeles, California and 4 step-grandchildren.
Visitation and vigil will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Risher Mortuary Chapel. The visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and the vigil will be at 4:00 pm. Services will conclude at Risher Montebello Mortuary.
