Rhoda Leola (Knutson) Oscarson, 95, was born on November 27, 1926, to
B.C. and Lettie (Thompson) Knutson on the family farm near Radcliffe, Iowa. She peacefully entered into eternal rest on June 13, 2022.

After graduating from Radcliffe High School in 1944, she taught grades 1-8 in a one-room rural school for one year. Rhoda became a registered nurse after graduating from Fairview Hospital School of Nursing in Minneapolis. She also received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Augsburg College.

Rhoda was united in marriage to Elder Wallace Oscarson on September 2, 1952, at her home church in Radcliffe. In 1953, Elder and Rhoda attended the University of Oslo, Norway, for one term. She faithfully served in support of Elder in churches in Everest, KS, Newfolden, MN, and Long Beach, CA. She was genuine and caring as she humbly worked behind the scenes to continually point people to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

She lovingly and unselfishly raised five children. Always ready to help anyone in need, Rhoda was very active in church, community, and family events. She also loved gardening, traveling, rosemaling, and being with family. Extremely capable and efficient, she could fix anything and quickly stepped in to make life better for anyone she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lettie (Thompson) Knutson, B.C. Knutson, Gertie (Bjerkestrand) Knutson, two brothers, Glennys Knutson, Caleb Knutson, and her devoted husband, Elder.

Those left to cherish her beloved memory include her five children, Cindy (Mark) Rogers, Daniel (Monica) Oscarson, Debbie (Dave) Neitzer, Mark Oscarson, Malcolm (Chris) Oscarson, 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, along with other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
