Richard Christopher Perez
October 23, 1954 — August 26, 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Christopher Perez announces his passing after a brief illness, on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at the age of 62 years. Richard will be lovingly remember by his wife of 45 years, Mercedes and his children, Jasmine, Lauren, Elise, Christopher and by grandchildren, Maya, Jeremiah Ortega by his son-in-law Steven Martinez and daughter-in-law Deziree Salinas Perez.
Richard grew up in the city of Pico Rivera and graduated in 1972 from El Rancho High School. Also worked at Northrop Grumman for 25 years and also umpired for RBA and Pico Boys for 20 plus years.
Richard was also very involved with his Church at Whittier Area Community. Richard was the lead cook for Alpha also he was the lead gate keeper for the play ground at VBS.
Richard will be truly Missed by his family and community.
Celebration of Richard's life will be held at 1:00pm on Friday September 15, at Whittier Area Community Church.
