Richard Fillmore Sandusky

Richard Fillmore Sandusky,69,was born on February 25, 1941 in Wichita, Kanasas and passed away on December 10, 2010 in Downey, Ca. He was a Manager for the Southern California Gas Co. for 35 years.
"Sandy" graduated in the first class of the Seal Beach Police Dept. Volunteers and has been a supervisor with that program ever since. He was on their Certified Emergency Response Team and was a Ham radio operator. "Sandy" was a member of the rod and gun club with So. Ca. Gas Co. and he loved to fish.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Sandusky of Seal Beach, his daughters, Natalie Karibian and Vanessa Sandusky, both of Seal Beach, Jennifer Sandusky of Torrance and 1 grandaughter. He also leaves his brothers, Bill Sandusky of Palmdale and Jim Sandusky of Valencia and many nephews and nieces.
The Funeral service will be held on Sat. December 18, 2010 at 10:00am at Grace Community Church, 138 Eighth St., Seal Beach, with interment following at Forest Lawn Cypress.
