Richard Andrew Sharpe

Richard Andrew Sharpe, 67, was born in New York, New York on January 22, 1947 and passed away in Los Angeles, California on November 5, 2014. Richard was previously a Police Officer for the Los Angeles Police Department for 30 years and flew helicopters in their Air Support Division. He retired from the LAPD in 2000. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army and was given an Honorable Discharge, and was a long time member of the National Guard.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Patricia E. Sharpe of Downey, his daughter, Christine (Paul) Yoon of Downey, Stephen (Natasha) Sharpe of Downey, John Eric Sharpe of Downey, Carolyn (Samuel) Barnes of Grand Terrace, CA and Colleen Sharpe of Salt Lake City, UT. He also leaves his grandchildren, Caitlyn and Addison Yoon and Julia and Nicholas Barnes, along with his brother, Alfred Sharpe of Fort Mojave, AZ and numerous nieces and nephews.
