Rita Isabel Espinosa

Rita Isabel Espinosa, 85, was born in Trujillo, Peru on July 22, 1928 and passed away in Los Angeles, Ca. on February 26, 2014. She was previously employed in the Banking industry for over 25 years.
Rita was a kind-hearted, warm woman who gave her heart freely and made everyone around her feel loved. She was a caretaker by nature, helping raise four of her nieces and nephews and four of her great-nieces and great-nephews. She was always full of joy and loved to laugh. She would giggle to herself all the time and it was contagious.
Rita was a great cook and was always working hard around the house. She loved reading Reader's Digest and watching the news. She was a fountain of information if you took the time to talk to her. She was accepting of all people and she never had anything bad to say about anyone. She was all goodness.
Rita had enormous faith. She loved and believed in God and lived her life according to His Word. She was an example to everyone who knew her and she will be so greatly misse
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 5:00-9:00pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary chapel. A Catholic Vigil will be the same evening at 7:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 10:00am at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church, 2060 N. Vermont, Los Angeles with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery.
Rita is survived by her sisters, Eva Maria (Manuel) DeAguiar, Maria Eugenia Piedrahita and Ethel Emilia Espinosa, all of Los Angeles, as well as 4 nieces and 4 nephews.
