Robert Cruz Diaz, 69, was born on April 23, 1953, in Pasadena, California to Robert Diaz and Marylouise Huston, and entered into eternal rest on August 10, 2022, in Baldwin Park, California.
Robert proudly served in the United States Air force and was honorably discharged for his faithful service to our great nation.
Robert was a big part of the community, he was an advocate for veterans and built the Veteran Memorial at Rio Hondo College, and was also in the process of building a similar one in San Gabriel.
Robert is survived by his loving family: Children, Roberto Roel, Dillion Diaz, Laura Fugitt, Robert Cruz Diaz Jr, Grandchildren, Austin Starkey, Madison Starkey, Cameron Starkey, Great Grandson, Soren Starkey, Sister, Cindy Weymans, Brother, Leonard Diaz, and many nieces and nephews, along with other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Robert was reunited at the gates of Heaven with his Wife Marina Armendariz.
