Robert Kennedy Haley
November 22, 1936 — May 25, 2020
Robert Kennedy Haley was born in LA on November 22, 1936. In high school he enjoyed cars and friends. He went into the Air Force for 4 years mostly serving in Okinawa. After his service he continued his education and worked for Goodyear.
He married my mom (Karen) in 1968 and they were marred for 52 years. My dad bought his first and only house in Anaheim where he raised myself and my older sister.
He retired from Hughes aircraft in about 2001 and lived his remaining years in the same home. He loved family and photography. He was a tough guy 6’2 240 lbs who protected his family. He was one of the dads that you didn’t “mess” with. He was a father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He was very patriotic and loved his country. He passed in his home on May 25, 2020; Memorial Day. He was the world to me and we all miss him deeply.
