Robert Frank Lohran

Robert Frank Lohran, 68, was born in Monterey Park on December 23, 1943 and passed away in Whittier on October 5, 2012. Robert was previously employed with Brinks Armored Service as an Armored Guard for 35 years. He grew up in Montebello and is a Montebello High School graduate.
Robert was a pet lover, especially his own dogs and cats. He enjoyed playing all types of poker games, loved going to the Santa Anita Racetrack and Stateline to play video poker. He was a coin collector, kept a beautiful garden and loved classic cars and going to car shows. Robert was an avid NFL fan and his favorite player was Peyton Manning. The 4th of July was a special day for him and he went all out with his parties on that day.
Visitation services will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 1:00-5:00pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel.
He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Lohran of PIco Rivera, his son, Joe Lohran of Whittier and his daughters, Tracy Baez of Whittier and Cindy Martinez of Apple Valley, and his step children, Richard Morga of Arkansas, "Bear" Morga of Yorba Linda, Gina Kreimann and Terry Morga, both of La Habra. He also leaves 22 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, his mother, Josephine Lohran of Hacienda Hts., and his siblings, Jo-Ann Nordhausen and Jody Lohran, both of Hacienda Hts. and Rick Lohran of Bullhead City, Az. and 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA, Disabled Veterans and the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Fund, all of which Robert supported every year and they held a special place in his heart. Their links will be added shortly to our web site.
