Robert "Totie" Medina age 62 of Los Angeles, CA, passed away after battling cancer on October 27, 2024.
Robert was born and raised in Los Angeles and attended a Catholic Seminary Boarding High School in Spokane, WA. His career path varied from his first job at Jack in the Box, waiting tables at the Bonaventure Hotel, construction work to working as a bus operator for the RTD/MTA public department, where he remained and retired from after 29 years of service to the Los Angeles Community.
Robert was born the 5th of 7 children to Paul and Josephine Medina on December 27, 1961, and is survived by his remaining 4 siblings: Stella Velasquez, Anthony Medina, Daniel Medina, and Jo Ann Medina, 4 nieces, and 7 nephews.
Robert was very creative, had the gift of gab, and had a generous heart, often giving whatever he owned to others in need. His favorite charity was St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as their mission meant a lot to him. Rest easy my brother, we love you and will miss you.
