Roberto Rodarte Monreal, 76, was born on March 13, 1941 in Juarez, Mexico to Luis Monreal and Tomasa Rodarte and entered into eternal rest on October 21, 2017 in Los Angeles, California.
With hard working hands and attention to detail, Roberto served in the quality control department for Kal Kan Foods for over 33 years. Roberto enjoyed listening to his oldies music and enjoyed the company of his loving family. Since Roberto was a child, he had a passion for the game of baseball. He began his journey with baseball as a young child in little league. He would continue on to be dedicated to the sport for his entire life, joining the 50 and over league as well as the "Super Veterano's League" for 60 and over players! And finally, became a member of the "Mike Brito League" at the Fresno Park, where he gained the love and respect of everyone who's path he came across.
Roberto was known as a loving father and was so proud of his family. One of his favorite things to do was to spend his time with his family beside him. He will always be remembered as a hard working family man, setting an example for all those who loved him. People will remember Roberto as THE BIGGEST DODGER FAN ever!
Roberto leaves behind his loving family: Daughter, Corina Garcia (James), Son, Robert Monreal (Virginia), Daughter, Veronica Aguilar (Hector), Brother, Luis Monreal, Sister, Maria Monreal, Sister, Patty Talavera, as well as several other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life will be held for Roberto on November 4, 2017 where all of his family and friends will be wearing their dodger blue in remembrance of him.
