We are heartbroken to announce our beloved husband and father, Roger L. Mendell entered into his eternal rest on November 2, 2023, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Roger Lewis Mendell, 74, was born on November 15, 1948, in Rochester, New York to Josephine and Robert Mendell.

Roger who bravely served his country in the Vietnam War has been recognized by The U.S. Army for his honorable service with a purple heart, specifically for his heroic actions during battle. Roger went on to build a successful air conditioning service company in Southern California. He was immeasurably committed to his work and his work ethic was an inspiration to all. His reputation was that of being a fair, honest and an exceptionally hardworking individual.

In summary, Roger's life is a narrative of a true American hero who transitioned from the battlefield to the business world with grace, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. His legacy continues to inspire others to emulate the values of courage, hard work, and integrity that defined his remarkable journey.

Roger is survived by his loving family; wife- Patricia (Patti) Mendell, daughters- Gina Mendell, Dina Mendell, and Alyssa Mendell, Brothers- Roy Mendell (Itsy) and Larry Mendell, Brother-in-law- Cary Goulard (Barbara), along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Roger will be greatly missed by the many people that knew and loved him.

Roger was greeted at the gates of Heaven by his son- Bobby Mendell and sister- Mary Anne Goulard.
