Ronda Garcia
July 6, 1970 — April 26, 2021
Ronda Elaine Garcia went to be in the presence of the Lord on Monday, April 26, 2021. Her laughter and bright smile which would light up a room has sadly gone out at the age of 50 when she lost her battle to congestive heart failure and kidney disease.
Ronda is survived by two strong and handsome sons, Jonah and Eli and her husband of 27 years, Robert. She also leaves behind her dad and mom, Ronnie and Freda Rhodes, a sister Becky Werner, a brother-in-law Scott, and niece and nephew, Riley and Austin. As well as, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A true friend, loving mother, wife, daughter, and sister until the end, she will forever be missed and leaves a void in all our hearts that will be so difficult to fill.
A celebration service is scheduled for Ronda on Friday, May 14 at 11:00am at Legacy Church, formerly First Baptist Church, of Downey. Please share any encouraging words, favorite memories, moments, and photos here for the Garcia/Rhodes family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Ronda’s name to Downey High School Football by check made out to DHS Football ℅ Cindy Foley or an Honor Memorial Donation to Make-A-Wish through wish.org.
