Rosa D. Monge
October 17, 1942 — February 5, 2021
Rosa Delia “Rosita” Monge, passed away to be with the Lord on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Cedar Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood, CA. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her and ultimately gave her peace.
Rosita was born on Oct 17, 1942 in El Salvador to the late Cruz Monge and Paula Rivas. In 1992 Rosita accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and dedicated her life to Serving God. She placed her life and trust in Him. She enjoyed reading the bible and talking about God’s words to any person she encountered.
Rosita was blessed with a beautiful loving family. She is survived by her partner of many years, Santiago Tevez; her dear sister Vilma Rico; her children, Ruth Jimenez, Walter Jimenez and William Tevez; grandchildren Giancarlo Cardoza, Katherine Cardoza, Walter Jimenez Jr, Jonathan Jimenez, Diana Jimenez; and Great Granddaughter Megan Jimenez, along with many family and friends that will miss her dearly.
She enjoyed making friends, going on trips to her Home Country and spending time with family.
Rosita was Loving, caring and always had a big smile on her face and she loved making people laugh. You would never meet a kinder, more selfless soul. she always lived for others and thought of everyone else before herself. No matter how little she had, she always shared with people in need. She taught her family all what it meant to be a good person.
She will be dearly missed by her family and those who knew and loved her.
Rosita was greeted by her parents Cruz Monge, and Paula Rivas, her sisters Adela Velasquez, Argelia Reyes, Maria Cruz Monge; and brothers Evelio Monge, Luis Monge, Miguel Monge as she entered the gates of Heaven.
