Rosalio R. Fierros was born on September 4, 1925 in Mexico and entered into eternal rest on March 1, 2017 in Long Beach, California.
Rosalio was a sanitation worker in the food packing industry for over 25 years and lived in Whittier, California for over 65 years. He was a baseball fan and loved his team the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. In his free time he was an avid gardener and loved to do puzzles. He was affectionately known as Leo.
Rosalio is survived by his loving family: Daughter, Rachel Contreras of La Puente, Daughter, Rosalinda Fierros of Whittier, Son, Jesse Fierros of Modesto, Daughter, Viriginia Silva (Tino) of Whittier, Son, Alejandro Fierros of Orange County, Daughter, Annabell Cordian (Tad) of Whittier, along with 16 beloved grandchildren and 13 beloved great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held for Rosalio on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
A graveside service will be held for Rosalio on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Resurrection Cemetery in Los Angeles, California at 11:00 AM.
