Rosario Hernandez Cuevas, 71, was born on February 17, 1939 in Mexico, and entered eternal life on June 14, 2010 in Pico Rivera, California.
Rosario survived by her loving husband, Humberto Cuevas of Pico Rivera, son, Humberto Cuevas of Pico Rivera, daughters, Patricia Gamboa of Montebello, April Cuevas of Pico Rivera and five grandchildren.
Rosario loved to work with children, she gave her time and affection to many children from the community of Montebello.Her favorite past time was gardening, and loved to watch her flowers grow.Above all, she truly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.Rosario will truly be missed by all who where lucky enough to have known her and will forever be in their hearts.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, June 21, 2010, at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California, with the vigil beginning at 7:00 pm.
Funeral mass will be at 9:00 am on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4245 South Acacia Ave., Pico Rivera, with interment following at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.
