Ruby Dee Boyd, 92, was born on March 19, 1921 in Tecumseh, OK and passed away on June 14, 2013 in Hemet, CA. She had resided in Menifee for the past 7 years, though previously lived in Downey for many years. Mrs. Boyd was an Office Manager for a chain manufacturer for 12 years.
A Visitation service will be held in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 10:00 am to 10:30 am with a Graveside Service at Rose Hills Memorial Park at 12:30 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Downey Chapel at 2:00 pm, with a reception following in the Fellowship Hall.
Ruby leaves behind her loving family; daughter Marilyn Boyd of Los Angeles, son Bill (Shellee) Boyd of Menifee, granddaughters Kelly (Will) Tallant of Nipomo, CA, Stacy Nash of Sonora, CA, Kristen (Steven) Merems of Menifee, and grandson Joshua (Ashley) Boyd of Texas, and seven great grandchildren.
Mrs. Boyd is predeceased by her husband of 27 years, Howard, and her daughter and son-in-law Judy and Jim Mahollan.
