Russell is survived by his loving wife Margaret Gildart of Santa Fe Springs and his three daughters; Vanessa Lea (Kevin) Zollman of Whittier, Erica Laura (Eric) Ramirez of Fullerton and Jessica Danielle Gildart of Santa Fe Springs. He also leaves behind three grandchildren; Lauren Ashley Rubio of Rosemead, Matthew Scott Rubio of Whittier, Ethan Eric Ramirez of Fullerton, his father Richard Frank Gildart of Santa Fe Springs, his two sisters; Nancy Aguilar of Thousand Oaks, Sharon Barron of Downey as well as 1 niece and 3 nephews. Russell was greeted at Heaven's gate by his mother Corrine Gildart and brother Richard (Rick) Gildart who both preceded him in death.
