Russell is survived by his loving wife, Muriel Palmer of Downey, California, daughters, Brenda Crawford of Dana Point, California, Terry Karlin in Tennessee, Suzanne Ryan of Portola Hills, California, sons, David Palmer of Mission Viejo, California, Marc Palmer of Trabuco Canyon, California, brothers, Walter Palmer of South Carolina, Kenneth Palmer of Rhode Island, sisters, Roma Reynolds of Rhode Island, Monna Morgan of Rhode Island, twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at the 1st Baptist Church of Downey.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the 1st Baptist Church of Downey, with interment following at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.
