Sally Santana (Aleman), 59, of Montebello, California, passed away on November 26, 2024. She was born on April 23, 1965, in Los Angeles, California, to Carmen Corrales Bazan and Jose Torrez Aleman.

Sally is survived by her loving husband, Joaquin Santana; her cherished sons, James and David Santana; and her beloved dog, Sandy.

Sally was known for her vibrant spirit and boundless energy—always sporty and on the move. She was spunky, quick-witted, and dedicated to creating a home where her children could thrive. Her passion for family and friends brought people together, and her warmth made every gathering memorable.

A hardworking and resilient individual, Sally dedicated her life to careers in clerical work and as a carrier for various companies. Beyond her professional life, she gave back to her community through volunteering and supporting local events.

Sally loved cheering for Kobe Bryant and for the Dodgers. She enjoyed playing Bingo, visiting the casino, and celebrating life’s simple joys. She had a deep love of music, especially for Steve Perry and the band Journey, whose songs brought her endless happiness and comfort.

Sally’s legacy will live on through the traditions she cultivated with family and friends and through the love and lessons she passed on to her sons, who were her greatest pride. Her resilience and spirit will continue to inspire patience, passion, and persistence in those who loved her.

A service to honor Sally’s life will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at Risher Mortuary in Montebello, California. Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 9:30 A.M at St. Benedict Church in Montebello, California.
