SAMANTHA JEAN ESCAREAL-GARCIA entered into Eternal Rest at the age of 33, on October 2nd, 2023. She was born August 31, 1990 at the Kaiser Hospital, Bellflower, CA to her loving parents Ronald Garcia & Elizabeth Escareal-Garcia, of Mexican and Filipino heritage.
Samantha graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. She was an amazing young woman, very intelligent and articulate, with diverse talents. She was driven; when she set a goal for herself, she worked hard to accomplish it. She was interested to learn the latest trend in women’s make-up and wanted to use her knowledge and skills to help other women with their self confidence and feel beautiful in their everyday life, so she also completed her beautician’s license recently with the goal to start her own practice.
Samantha was very detail oriented and very organized, an avid researcher for topics of interest such as health, beauty, and self-improvement. Combined with her drive to teach herself new skills and go-getter personality, these traits made her a great asset as administrative assistant at her workplace.
Growing up, her parents took her to different countries ~ Vienna, Austria, Budapest, Hungary, Japan, Philippines, and Mexico, where she swam with dolphins. She travelled the country to Washington D.C, Hawaii, Key West, Florida, and Puerto Rico. She loved listening to and expressing herself through music, spending much of her time singing and dancing (she was even trained in ballet and took modern dance classes in high school). She also played the piano, and diligently taught herself how to play the guitar. She also had Karate lessons. She enjoyed playing video games, especially ones with friends, such as the Beat Saber Game on the VR.
Samantha was incredibly sweet and caring, always thinking of others. She saved an injured dog who appeared out of nowhere in her parents' driveway. This dog became her fur baby she named Tali Zorah after a popular video game character. She also tried to save an injured hummingbird and had it treated at a clinic. She was quite sad when it didn’t survive. Her loving nature extended to all creatures big and small.
Samantha is survived by her loving parents, Ron and Elizabeth, her sister, Camille, half brothers, Ian and David Lazaro, and her fur baby. She also leaves behind many friends and family who will miss her greatly.
Samantha was greeted at Heaven’s Gate by her spirit sister, Christina, her Uncle Tony, her Lolo and Lola, and Grandma and Grandpa Garcia.
