Samuel served in the United States Army and was given an Honorable Discharge for his faithful service to our great nation. With dedication and care, Samuel also worked as a Medical Doctor in Obstetrics for over 37 years.
Samuel is survived by his loving family: Wife, Nora McMillan of Downey, Sons, Horace James McMillan of Texas, Lawrence Derich McMillan of Alabama, Robert Chester McMillan of Downey, Zachary Brown McMillan of Downey, Lemmon Rudolph McMillan of Downey, Grandson, Jalen Mcmillan of Texas, Brother, Lemmon Columbus (Sharon) McMillan III of Playa Del Rey, sister-in-law Tanya McMillan, 3 nephews, 2 nieces, and other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Samuel was met at the gates of Heaven by his Son, Samuel Leroy Mcmillan II, his Brother, Robert Chester McMillan and his parents, Lemmon Columbus and Vivian Lucille McMillan.
