Sandra Buell Albertson

Sandra B. Albertson,78, was born on November 27, 1934 in Lincoln, Nebraska and passed away on November 26, 2013 in Downey, Ca. She graduated from Mitchell High School in Mitchell, SD and went on to graduate from The University of Nebraska. Sandra then moved to California where she earned her Master's Degree in English from the University of Redlands. She had resided in Downey for the previous 47 years.
Sandra enjoyed a teaching career of 39 years where she taught English and was the Drill Team advisor. She was privileged to teach in the Bellflower Unified School District at Roosevelt Jr. High and Mayfair High. Sandra enjoyed crossword puzzles and was an avid reader; but she spent most of her time devoted to her trademark crafts, Sagaciaus Allusious, which included card making, stamping, sewing and calligraphy.
A Memorial service will be held on December 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Downey Chapel, 8348 3rd St., Downey, CA.
She is survived by her three children: Lisa Maree (James) Ramsey of Monument, CO, Theodore Noble Albertson of Fresno, Ca. and Kenneth Edward (Cathy) Albertson of Fresno, Ca; and her sister, Cynthia Seymour of No. Carolina; brother, Bradford Elijah (Janell) Buell of Georgia; four grandchildren: Ryan Ramsey, Austin Ramsey, CJ Albertson and Michael Albertson.
