Sharyon met the love of her life, Lou Nunez who she has been married to for 56 years, at Candy's Florist during Easter break. They enjoyed 56 years of marriage and had three sons, James, John, and Joe— affectionately known as the three J's.
Sharyon, a devoted resident of El Monte, had a deep love for her community. Her commitment to giving back was evident through her active involvement in the El Monte Women's Club, the El Monte Elk's Camping Club, and Women of the Moose. For over four decades, Sharyon was an integral part of Candy's Florist. Beyond her community involvement and professional endeavors, Sharyon was a true sports enthusiast, passionately cheering for the Dodgers and Rams. Her love for General Hospital, a soap opera, endured for over 50 years, showcasing her enduring interests and connections.
Sharyon is survived by her loving family: Husband, Lou Nunez, Sons, James, John, and Joe, and 5 Grandchildren, Amaya, Anisa, Grayson, Ryan, and Archie. Sharyon will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Heaven gained another Angel.
Sharyon was reunited at Heaven's Gate with her Parents, Ray and June Richards, and her Siblings, JoAnn, Chuck, and Patrick.
