Mr. Barela was a Truck Driver for over 18 years and was a resident of Los Angeles County nearly his whole life. Simon loved to laugh. He enjoyed restoring and cruising in old Volkswagen cars. He cherished his family, and spending time with them was of the utmost importance.
Simon leaves behind his beloved family: daughters Sherrie Duron, Summer Barela, Brooke Barela, and son Sammie Barela. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Visitation Service will be held in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm.
