Sofia Ortega De Duarte

Adventurous, kind, loving, accomplished and family oriented are words many would use to describe Sofia Duarte. Since first arriving in the United States, Sofia proudly followed her dreams. While helping support her own mother from afar Sofia quickly embarked on a life that brought much love to everyone she knew. The first person to believe in Sofia's amazing ways was her soon to be husband Gonzalo. The two quickly married (love at first sight) and later welcomed first-born daughter Gisel. Soon after Sofia and Gonzalo welcomed their first son Gonzalo Jr. Sofia's dreams quickly became ones for her family. Sofia had always planned on having a family and all the blessings that came with it. Whether it was through loving words, hard work, prayer, or an undefeated desire to provide the best for her family she accomplished it. After ensuring Gisel and Junior the best start possible, Sofia and Gonzalo decided to have another child, their son Salvador. After Salvador's (or Chavita as he is known by his entire family) arrival, Sofia's ambition grew. Her hard work and dedication to her family led to another one of her dreams, becoming a home owner. Sofia's loving nature led to her becoming a caregiver which she did until she retired. Sofia's husband Gonzalo, and her three children Gisel, Junior and Chavita appreciated, admired and endlessly loved her and will continue to do so!
