Sonia is survived by her loving husband, Victor Menjivar of Montebello, daughter, Vanessa Menjivar of Pico Rivera, plus seven brothers and sister.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, October 29, 2009, at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California, with the vigil beginning at 7:00 pm.
Funeral mass will be at 9:00 am on Friday, October 30, 2009, at the Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Montebello, California.
Interment will be private.
