Stella Gligorich
January 10, 1930 — June 4, 2017
Stella Gligorich was born Stana Terzic in Cacak, Yugoslavia. She was the daughter of Rosa Plazinich and Milovan Terzic. Stella came to the United States, Ellis Island, on March 11th 1957, by way of Bemerhaven, Germany.
Stella worked most of her life as a cook and waitress. In her later years she worked as a property manager in Hollywood. She was briefly married to Vladimir Milanovich and had her only child, Bob Milanovich. She married Vojislav Gligorich in 1970 until his death in 2001.
She lived her last 12 years in Burbank, CA near her son Bob, daughter-in-law Denise, and two grandchildren Miles and Hannah. She looked forward to holidays and Birthday's spent with her large extended Family (The Flynn's). Stella also loved her time talking on the phone with her only surviving sister Angelina Terzic who still lives in Serbia.
She was fortunate enough to have her grandchildren work as her caregiver the last several years of her life. This allowed them time with her to learn about her life and appreciate her funny sense of humor.
Stella enjoyed walking to the mall, feeding the birds and visiting with friends. She had her own sense of style and charm and she will be dearly missed by all.
