Stella Joan Mendel, 91, was born on September 17, 1917 in Massachusetts, and passed away on February 26, 2009 in Monterey, California.
Stella is survived by her loving daughters, Judy Parsons of Monterey, Susan FitzPatrick of Torrance, Kathy (Jack) Larkin of San Clemente, Carol Bland of Monterey, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Vigil and funeral mass will be on Saturday, March 7, 2009, the vigil will be at 10:30 am and the funeral mass will start at 11:00 am at at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Montebello, California, with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, California.
