Stephan is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl McDermott of La Habra, sons, Stephan C. McDermott of La Habra, Patrick McDermott of Twin Falls, Idaho, Scott McDermott of Wheatland, Sean McDermott of La Habra, mother, Shirley McDermott of Montebello, brother, David McDermott of Chino Hills, sisters, Kathleen Pomo of Yorba Linda, Charlene Cota of Temecula and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, March 5, 2010, at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California, with the vigil beginning at 7:00 pm.
Funeral Mass will be at 9:00 am on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Montebello, California. Services conclude at the church.
