Steven is survived by his loving mother, Cynthia Strachan (and step-father, William) of Downey, CA, father, Steven Varela (and step-mother, Laurie) of Gilbert, AZ, sisters, Varinia, Reyna, and Lola Varela all of Gilbert, AZ, and his grandmother, Selina C. Garcia of Santa Fe Springs, CA. Steven will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
