With hard working hands, Steven was a maintenance mechanic in the food industry for over 45 years and was a veteran of the United States Army, earning an honorable discharge for his years of bravely fighting for our freedom.
Steven leaves behind his loving family: Wife, Linda Nelson of Phelan, California, Son, Jerry Glen Nelson of El Paso, Texas, Daughter, Sheila Marie Haines (Donald) of Santa Fe Springs, California, Granddaughter, Mikkayla Nguyen of Arvada, Colorado, Granddaughter, Elizabeth Nelson of Arvada, Colorado, Granddaughter, Kaitlyn Haines of Santa Fe Springs, California, Sister, Cynthia Leos of Santa Barbara, California, Sister, Janice Verdusco of Menifee, California, Sister, Roseann Nelson of Laguna, California, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and several other friends and family members who loved him and will miss him dearly.
