Susan Antonisamy

Susan "Susie" Antonisamy, 72, was born on December 2, 1940 in Madison, Indiana and passed away on June 18, 2013 in San Gabriel, Ca. following a lengthy illness. Susie employed by Beverly Hospital for more than 40 years, and over that period of time, she worked in Facilities, Nursing Administration and most recently in the Foundation, as the Fund Development Associate. She was involved in organizing many fundraising projects, including the Cardiac Care Golf Tournament, the Heritage Circle Program and the Annual Dinner Dance with 500 guests. She was an active member of the Employee Activity Committee. She also was the Volunteer Coordinator and worked closely with the Beverly Hospital Guild as a Lifetime Member, assisting them in their events. She was instrumental in organizing the State of the Heart Program with Dr. K.L. Cohen for many years, and helped to develop the Cancer Program with Dr. Ira Felman. She was a member of the Montebello Soroptimist Club for many years.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 5:00 - 9:00 pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel and Reception Center. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 9:00 am at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church with burial following at Rose Hills Memorial Park.

Susie is survived by her loving family, her sons, Mitchell S. (Elke) Leonard of Anaheim and Mark A. Leonard of So. El Monte and her daughter, Marcy Leonard of Lomita. She also leaves 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and her sister Sallie (Jerry) Carter of Indianapolis, Indiana. Susie is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Antonisamy.
