Susan Exer Nims

Susan Exer Nims, 73, was born in Oakland, California on December 17, 1939 and passed away at her residence in Harbor City, California surrounded by her loving family on July 10, 2013. She was born to Monte Holt and Helen Grubb.
Susan was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was always ready and willing to offer encouragement to her family and others. All were cheered by her quick wit and her ability to make everyone smile and laugh. Her interests were spending time with her family, playing board and card games, sailing, music, decorating her home, and all of her beloved pets. Her family feels the loss of this beautiful lady and grieve deeply. A celebration of life will be held later.
Susan is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, William A. Nims of Harbor City, her daughters, Kristin (Dale Price) Tyler of Blackwell, Oklahoma and Melanie ( Chas Spalding) Nims of Gold Canyon, Arizona, Kandy White of Harbor City, and her sons, Michael Nims of Riverside and David (Juline) Sisler of Sacramento. She also leaves 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
