Susan Padilla

November 7, 1960 — June 18, 2023

Susan Padilla Profile Photo
Susan Padilla was born on November 7th, 1960 in Los Angeles, California. Susie - as she was mostly called by her family and friends - left this earthly existence on June 18, 2023 in Lynwood, California. Susan’s Son Walter was faithfully and lovingly by her side when she departed. She was 62 years old. Susan was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and mother.

Susan was of Eastern European and Mexican descent. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends, where Susan especially enjoyed keeping in contact with her classmates from Schurr High School. Susan very much enjoyed being a Cheerleader at Schurr as well. Susan loved working in the summertime on Catalina Island as a young adult. She attended community college and Cal State Los Angeles. We must also recognize and honor Susan’s firstborn daughter, Collette, where she was born in 1987. Collette tragically lost her life in 1988, where Collette’s ashes were laid to rest in Rose Hills. Lastly, Susan was presented with mental health challenges from her young adulthood. Therefore, given the difficulties Susan had to transcend, let us bestow special recognition and compassion upon our memories of her and Susan’s soul for her tenacity and ability to persevere while she walked the earth.

Susan is survived by Walter, her son, her sister Brenda, her brother Roman, her niece Marissa, and her nephew Lucas.

The Padilla’s would like to thank all of our family, friends, loved ones, Risher Mortuary and Resurrection Cemetery for their support during this challenging time. Blessings to Susan and May Her Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.
