Tanya Rubiec, 67, was born on February 22, 1951 in Seattle, Washington to George Rubiec and Kapitalina Tscapchunian and entered into eternal rest on January 26, 2019 in Montebello, California.
Tanya was a devoted secretary in the food services industry for over 20 years.
Tanya leaves behind her loving family: Daughter, Michele Potashman (Meyer) of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Grandsons, Hannan and Amiel Potashman of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Brother, Nick Rubiec (Retha) of Redding, California, as well as several other family members and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
Tanya was well known for her love of family and how she cared for their needs. She was a dedicated friend who treasured her relationships. She was very generous in many ways. She had a sense of humor that drew people to her like a magnet, one which she carried until the end. She was a wonderful cook and very generous with her meals and treats. She was an amazing woman, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, friend and “comadre” who will be missed tremendously.
