Teresa Sanchez
June 10, 1929 — December 9, 2020
Teresa Maria Sanchez, 91, left us peacefully to be with Jesus her Savior and Lord on December 9, 2020 at home with her family by her side.
Teresa was born June 10th 1929 in Los Angeles to Rafael & Simona Juarez. She was raised in Los Angeles with a family of 9 siblings whom she loved dearly. She graduated from Garfield High School in 1947, being a member of many of the clubs offered at Garfield High. She worked as a clerk for a Department Store in Downtown Los Angeles.
Her interests included her family, dancing, puzzles, word searches, reading her Bible and supporting missionaries. She absolutely adored her family, both immediate and extended. She devoted her life to taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her favorite scripture verse was Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Teresa is reunited in heaven with her husband Greg, daughter Rosemary, granddaughter Sylvia and great grandson Joshua. She is survived by her son Richard and his wife Dolores, daughter Lorraine and her husband Dicky; along with 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; her sister Lucy Duran and her brother Johnny Juarez.
