Theodore "Ted" Ernest Esquivel was born on March 29, 1956 in Alvin, Texas to Rachel Rivas and Alex Esquivel and entered into eternal rest on May 7, 2015 in Pico Rivera, California. He was 59 years old. Previously, Ted worked in construction for over 10 years.

Ted loved football, boxing, and many other sports. He enjoyed running, and working out all the time. He was a loving father to Jessica and Tatiana, and adored his lovely granddaughters; they were all his passion. He loved going to bible studies, and loved listening to classic rock like Procol Harum, Jeff Beck, Cream and Jethro Tull. Ted was a very passionate individual, he loved talking politics and religion. He helped out many throughout his lifetime. Rest in Peace Theodore Ernest Esquivel- You will be greatly missed my many. You had a heart full of love, and mind full of wisdom. Your daughters and family love you dearly.

Ted is survived by his daughter Jessica (Angel Barraza) Esquivel of Monterey Park, daughter Tatiana Filipow of Las Vegas, step-daughter Vanessa Altamirano of Huntington Beach, granddaughter Gabrielle Barraza of Monterey Park, granddaughter Bella Barraza of Monterey Park, granddaughter Harlo Altamirano of Huntington Beach and grandson Gavyn Ruiz of Huntington Beach. He also leaves behind his three brothers: Alex (Joan) Esquivel of Hacienda Heights, Robert (Sylvia) Esquivel of Whittier, and Dave Esquivel of La Habra Heights as well as his nieces & nephews: Jason Esquivel, Jade Esquivel, Alexander Esquivel, Jazzmyn Esquivel, Jackson Esquivel, Leslie Esquivel, Robert Esquivel Jr., Matthew Esquivel, David Esquivel Jr., Jillian Esquivel, 3 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews.
