Victoria P Diaz

Victoria P. Diaz, 89, was born in Montebello on February 23, 1923 and passed away in West Covina on August 28, 2012. She had been a resident of Los Angeles County for her entire life and Montebello for most of that time. She was previously employed with Sears and Roebuck as a Retail Clerk and had been in the Retail industry for 44 years.
Victoria loved to read, crochet and listen to Big Band music. She had been a Beverly Hospital Guild member for many years. She enjoyed walking and was a member of a group of mall walkers at the Shops at Montebello (formerly the Montebello Town Center). Victoria was a long time parishioner of St. Benedict Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 5:00-9:00 pm in the Risher Montebello Mortuary Chapel. A Catholic Vigil will be held the same evening at 7:00 pm also in the Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 9:00 am at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. A reception will be held in Whittier following the Graveside Service.
She is survived by her brother, Cipriano Diaz of Pomona and her sister, Frances Salaises of Monterey Park and numerous nieces and nephews.
