Viorel Bucur

Viorel “Vio” Bucur was born on October 7 th,1958 in Bucharest, Romania. He immigrated with his family to Bell Gardens, California in August of 1976. He quickly developed a passion for the car industry and became a top seller at Longo Toyota where he thrived. Vio became a sales manager and general manager, receiving national accolades and awards at Toyota. In 2000, he opened his own car dealership, Vio’s Auto Sales. He sold over 6000 vehicles in 24 years as CEO and owner of his company.

He is survived by his four children, Alec, Philip, Ariana, and Elisa Bucur who were his pride and joy. He loved spending time with his grandchild, Theodore Bucur, and his dog Finn. Vio’s favorite memories were barbequing in his backyard with the family, spending time by the beach, and taking trips with his children. Later in his life he developed a love for animals and spent every day at the dog park with his friends. He had a contagious personality and always brought a smile to those who met him. He will always be loved and sorely missed by his family and friends.

Viorel passed away on January 13th, 2024 after battling pancreatic cancer at the age of 65.
