Wilebaldo Tabarez, lovingly known as " Willy" and "Garbanzo" was born May 5, 1937 in Tecoalhche, Mexico and entered into eternal rest on September 7, 2012 in his Boyle Heights home surrounded by his loving family.

Wilebaldo will always be remebered as a hard working man and great provider for his family. As a child he worked in his mom's resturant as a cook. He moved to Los Angeles and worked in the hotel business. In 1963 Wilebaldo married the love of his life Maria De Jesus Aguilera and they purchashed their first home in 1972. He was employeed at National Can Company for over 27 years and happily chose to work the nights shift so he can take his children to school at Our Lady Of Lourdes. He always enjoyed family dinners before going to work.

Religion was very important to Wilebaldo, he was a Catechism teacher and member of the Rosary Club until 2001 when his beloved Wife Maria passed away.
Also in 2001 Wilebaldo battled colon cancer, he fought and won his battle with cancer. Wilebaldo was a soccer coach at Obregon Park, in East Los Angeles, he proudly held the postion of Secretary and Programmer for the E.L.A. Leauge. He enjoyed watching the game on televison, his favorite team was Chivas De Guadalajara, Mexico.

Wilebaldo loved life and lived his to the fulliest. If you heard laughter you knew he was near by; he was a playful and loving person. Wilebaldo treasured his family and was protective and strict with his Children, it was only because he wanted the best for them. He is survived by his loving Children; Daughter, Soledad (Jose) Castillo , Son, Jose Tabarez, Daughter's, Monica and Nancy Tabarez and Son Daniel Tabarez. He was a loving Grandpa to eleven Grandchildren and the first Great Grandchild is to be born soon. Wilebaldo was greeted at Heavens Gate by his Wife Maria who proceeded him in death. He will be deeply missed by all knew and loved him.
