William Muro Garcia

William M. Garcia, 75, born on April 9, 1936 in Los Angeles, California, entered into eternal rest on December 5, 2011 in Pico Rivera, California.
A Roosevelt High graduate, he attended East Los Angeles Community College and spent more than 30 years in the office products industry, holding various managerial positions with Universal Paper Goods, Master Products and Airmark.
He was a Los Angeles Lakers and Dodgers fan but considered himself a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, following 'his' team through the newspapers he sold on street corners in East L.A. during his youth. He enjoyed playing his guitars and loved being with his family.
William is survived by his loving family, wife Florence Garcia, children; William "Owee" Garcia (Sonja), Jerry Garcia (Lynn), Kim Guerrero (Tony), Bradford Garcia (Darlene). He was a loving grandfather to ten grandchildren.
William also is survived by his siblings; Martha Gonzales, Ofelia Estrada, Josie Arrietta, Mabel Morales, Margaret Duran, Ruben Garcia, Conrad Garcia and Gilbert Garcia. He was proceded in death by his son Clifford Garcia, who greeted him at Heaven's Gate.
Visitation will be held on Sunday December 11, 2011 from 10-2:00pm at Risher Montebello Chapel 1316 W. Whittier Blvd., Montebello,CA 90640.
Funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 11:00AM St. Mariana De Pardes Church 7922 S. Passon Blvd.,Pico Rivera, CA 90660 562-949-8240.
Burial Services will follow after mass at Calvary Cemetery, 4201 Whittier Blvd., Los Angeles CA 90023 323-261-3106.
