William "Bill" Lawrence Johnston, 68, was born on July 21, 1949 in Lynwood California to William and Elizabeth Johnston and entered into eternal rest on December 18, 2017 in Fullerton, California.
Bill was a dedicated director of sales in the hydraulic sales industry for over 45 years and was a veteran of the United States Air Force earning an honorable discharge for his years bravely fighting for our freedom. Bill had a passion for automotive racing and had been racing his Datson 510 in the SCCA. He loves sports cars and vintage cars. He had been involved in racing for over 25 years. He and his partner, Sandy, were also very involved in working with show dogs together.
Bill leaves behind his loving family: Partner of over 35 years and the love of his life, Sandy Phillips of Fullerton, California, Step Son, Brent Phillips (Julie) of Irvine, California, Step Son, Jeff Phillips of Tennessee, Step Granddaughter, Bridget Phillips of Irvine, California, Brother, John Johnston of Santa Fe Springs, California, Brother, Dennis Faulkner of Bullhead City, Arizona, Nephew, Kade Faulker of Bullhead City, Arizona, Brother, John Faulkner of Bullhead City, Arizona, as well as several nieces and nephews and numerous family members and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the heart foundation in Bill's honor.
