William John Rose
April 28, 1930 — December 4, 2015
Bill Rose went home to be with the Lord on December 4, 2015, in Kaiser Hospital in Downey, CA. He was 85 years young.
He is survived by his wife, AnneMarie and son John (Pauline) of Downey, CA. His 6 grandchildren, Stefinie (25), Daniel (21), Amanda (19), Adam (17), and John Jr. (8), and Marissa (24) Hem (Chan).
Bill was born on April 28, 1930 in Stonington, Connecticut to William and Arlene (Vars) Rose, who preceded him in death. Also preceded in death are siblings George, Harold, Raymond Richie, Ron and Veronica. He is survived by his sisters, Phyllis Swank of Illinois, Joan Gonzalez of Riverside, and Jean Rizzo of Westerly, Rhode Island.
Bill worked in construction at a very early age and learned all phases of building. He was the Plummer, Electrician, Sheet rock, finisher, roofer, etc. Nothing was too big a job for him. He was a Jack of all trades and could do anything including car mechanic. He eventually went into his own business with Sales and Service of Steam & Pressure Washers and “Rose Equipment Repair” was born in 1974. His legacy of leadership and knowledge continues through his family owned business passed on to his son and family.
Because of his acceptance of the Lord as his savior, we are resting in the promise of his eternity in Heaven through God’s word. John 14:1-6.
