William Romero Valenzuela Jr., 78, was born on November 23, 1946, in California to William Romero Valenzuela Sr. and Margaret Josephine Soto. He entered into eternal rest on January 31, 2025, in Montebello, California.
William also affectionately known as “Bill”, “Gordie”, “Gordo”, and “Val”, enjoyed spending time with his wife, Aida, of 53 years, children, and grandchildren. He loved to play (to win!) family games, making delicious mashed potatoes, going out to breakfast, reading the newspaper, and taking care of his yard. He found joy in simple pleasures like going to Sizzler, drinking a soda, having a bloke, listening to 60’s music, shouting Loteria!, or watching a sporting event. He was a big fan of the Dodgers, Lakers, Rams, and Phillies. He was very generous, extremely patient, funny, and enjoyed telling jokes with his big infectious smile.
William is survived by his loving family: Children, Gabriel Valenzuela (Jennifer), Denise Limon (David), Sarah Mendez (Mauricio), Grandchildren, David Limon, Sophia Limon, Leia Limon, William Mendez, Logan Mendez, Garren Valenzuela, and Tess Valenzuela, Siblings, Patricia Walton (James) and Gilbert Valenzuela (Yolanda), along with numerous Nephews and Nieces. William will be greatly missed by his family, friends and community.
William was reunited at the Gates of Heaven by his Wife, Aida Valenzuela and Sister, Sylvia Hernandez.
